The Weatherspoon Art Museum will be showcasing Seven Masters: 20th-Century Japanese Woodblock Prints from September 10-December 4. This exhibition focuses on seven artists who played a significant role in the development of the art movement known as shin hanga, or “the new print,” and whose works boldly exemplify this new movement. An accompanying resource guide for this collection is available through the UNCG libraries at go.uncg.edu/seven-masters.
