On Thursday February 25th, join the Human Rights Research Network for the next installment of their human rights film series. This time, they are showing “The Amazing Nina Simone” (2015, Director: Jeff L. Lieberman), which provides insight into the life and work of singer, musician, and civil rights activist Nina Simone. It will be moderated by Dr. Joan Titus, Associate Professor of Musicology, UNCG, with Dr. David Aarons, Assistant Professor of Ethnomusicology, UNCG.
